Anyhow, since so many Americans eat pizza, we believe it’s a creative and fun way to DRIP on your clients/prospects.
Ah, the day of love. For you, as a business owner/salesman, consider it a day to “love” on your clients. Well, unless of course, you are secretly in love with one of your clients/prospects, then today may be the day to confess your feelings. However, we don’t recommend this, and you did not get that advice from us. By the way, did you know Valentine’s Day (although not in the form it is today) has been celebrated since 496? Due to its ancient roots, Valentine’s Day is a great outreach to show your clients/prospects some love. Best of luck, especially if you are confessing your love.
American Football, whether you like it or not, is an extremely popular sport. One that most of your clients probably pay attention to. As a matter of fact, it is estimated just shy of 100 million people now turn into the Super Bowl every year. Wine is a perfect way to touch base with your clients/prospects and deepen your relationship. Who doesn’t love a good glass of vino? Speaking of wine, did you know it’s made in virtually every country in the world? However, don’t order a glass of cobra wine if you are in Vietnam – we will let you do the Google search on that one. Cheers to sending a fantastic outreach!
According to recent research, the average person picks up their phone 1,500/day. If you don’t have a calculator in front of you, that comes out to just a little bit over 214 times per day. Thank goodness there is a day to unplug: National Day of Unplugging. With society uber-connected more than it has even been, sometimes a gentle reminder to unplug and enjoy all the little things around us goes a long way. We believe this is an excellent outreach.
Everyone has a soft spot for the college they attended. That’s why touching base when March Madness begins is an excellent outreach, especially if you know the specific school your client/prospect attended made the Big Dance. What’s great about this communication is that as their team advances, you can send numerous communications. What’s better than multiple touchpoints over three weeks? Enjoy the tourney!

Since 1846, the first week of April has always been the start of baseball season- America’s pastime. The beginning of the season is an excellent reason to send an outreach, especially if you know your client/prospects’ favorite baseball team.
The second weekend in April starts the Masters. As Jim Nantz so famously calls it, “[a] tradition unlike any other.” Whether you are a fanatic or just a casual fan, the Masters is the “Must See” golf event every year. It’s also an excellent reason to stay in touch with your clients/prospects. If you are a golfer, it might even be a reason to schedule a meet-up.
Established in 1974, National Volunteer Week is a way to give back to our communities. Volunteering is a great way to make our country and communities a better place for future generations. It’s also a great way to build a connection with your most important clients/prospects, and, of course, empower those who already spend their time volunteering.
Did you know that the EPA, Clean Air Act, and Clean Water Act all came about because 20 million people choose to march back on April 22nd, 1970? At that time, it represented 10% of the US population. Back then, there was no legal way to protect our environment. Therefore, in 1970, Senator Gaylord Nelson from Wisconsin created Earth Day. Since Earth Day has been created, numerous powerful laws and regulations have come into play to protect our environment. What better way to outreach than to share the good news of a clean environment?
More than 44 million people across 187 countries now partake in Take Your Daughter or Son to Work Day. Do we wonder if all 44 million allow their daughter or son to tell the boss how they really feel? Dogs, cats, or birds? What is the most common household pet? Trick question: the most common household pet is a fish– and by a large amount. It is estimated there are over 142 million pet fish in the USA and coming in 2nd is cats at 88 million. No matter your preference, owning a pet is part of the American dream. It’s also an excellent way to let your clients/prospects know you are thinking about them and their pets.
Salt or freshwater? Cast or fly? Live bait or lure? What is your fishing preference? No matter your client/prospect’s preference, this is an excellent week to reach out to your anglers.
Today we celebrate the official spirt of America. Bourbon. So, sit back, relax, and enjoy your bottle of Pappy Van Winkle or if you are like me… some Buffalo Trace! And do not forgot to outreach to your Bourbon lovers.
Since the invention of the camera phone, selfies have become mainstream. So mainstream that the selfie stick business does over 200 million dollars a year in business. Also, the cosmetic surgeries and supplies industry and photo app business has seen an uptick in business. Let us see what the future holds for us when it comes to taking creative selfie pictures. Speaking of the future, I see a future outreach to your clients and prospects on National Selfie Day.

Butterfingers, Snickers, and Skittles, oh my! Who does not love candy? Just thinking about it makes me want to sneak in a snack. That is right, the whole month of June is dedicated to candy. So, no excuses; when sending an outreach, you have an entire month.
On July 4th, 1776, the 13 colonies declared their independence from England. Now, more than 250 years later, this day represents not only our freedom, but fireworks, BBQs, and parades. It also means a great way to reach out to your clients/prospects.
They say you can tell a lot about a person by the type of car they drive. What does your car say about you? Some Americans seem to have a complete fascination with cars. What better way to send an outreach to your car lovers on Collector Car Appreciation Day?
Most of us reading this have more than enough to survive day-to-day. With that in mind, what could you give away? Some of the most common ideas to consider are clothes, food, furniture, and money. Sending an outreach on “Give Something Away Day” can be a great reminder to your clients/prospects to give a helping hand.
2,000 miles in 23 days. No, I am not talking about your upcoming marathon training. I am talking about the Tour De France, aka La Grande Boucle. Every year in July, approximately 200 cyclists compete to earn the right to wear the Yellow Shirt and be declared the best cyclist in the world. This event can be an excellent way to connect with your clients and prospects who love to bike.

No matter what your client/prospect’s summer plans entail, it creates a great opportunity to send an outreach.
Vanilla, Strawberry, or Chocolate? Soft serve or regular? Sprinkles or plain? Cone or cup? There are millions of ways to eat ice cream…what’s your choice? All this ice cream talk has us craving – Turkey Hill Peanut Butter Ripple. My guess is your best clients and prospects have a favorite ice cream flavor. Maybe it is time to send them an outreach.
Any Harry Potter fans out there? If so, today is your day. No, it is not National Harry Potter Day; it is National Book Lover’s Day. Interestingly, Harry Potter is the 3rd most read book in the world behind the Bible and Quotations from Chairman Mao Tse-Tung. We believe everyone loves a good book. What is the old saying, after watching a Hollywood thriller, the book was better, right? So, today is for those who love sitting back, relaxing, and reading a good book.
In 1840, the first bowling alley opened Knickerbocker Alley in New York. Since then, bowling has become a common household hobby and family activity. I mean, who does not enjoy a day at the alley, throwing strikes and spares and bragging about how they beat everyone in their whole family! It sounds like a fun-filled afternoon or evening to us! Sixty-seven million Americans will bowl this year, so do not be shy using this outreach with all your clients/prospects.
It is still debated, to this day, who invented the knock, knock joke. Some same William Shakespeare first started it in his play, Macbeth. Some say it began with Merely McEvoy, a columnist for the Oakland Tribune. Some say it was the cartoonist Bob Dunn. Although this is a debate for ages, today is Tell a Joke Day. And the knock, knock joke is a clean, fun way to implement humor into your clients/prospect’s life. Good luck making them laugh!
Have you ever wanted to reach out to a client/prospect or even a friend just because? Well, today is your day! It is National Just Because Day. You use today in many ways: to say hi, to say thank you, or to remind them of anything relevant in their lives. However, we suggest it makes sense to send a quick note that says you are thinking about them.

August means summer is nearing its end, and back to school is here. Every year, there are approximately 80 million kids in the US school system. That means there is a good chance that your clients/prospects with kids are gearing up for the upcoming school year. In our opinion, no better way to put a smile on their face than by touching base with a back-to-school outreach!
The unofficial last day of summer and the last acceptable day to wear white if you are into fashion. Since 1882, Labor Day has been celebrated to honor the American labor movement and all its achievements because of that movement. “Achy Breaky Heart,” “Afternoon Delight,” “Play That Funky Music,” and “Come on, Eileen”…What do all these have in common? If you guessed one-hit wonders, you are a winner. That’s what makes National One Hit Wonder Day such a great time to make your clients and prospects laugh and reminiscence about their favorite one-hit wonder.

There is no official date of the first photo, but historians believe it happened from 1826 to 1827. Since then, the photo industry has come a long way. Twenty years ago, you had to buy a separate camera; now, one app on your phone lets you do what some of the world’s best cameras did back then. Most people do not accurately back up their photos on their phones, so they don’t actually preserve their nostalgic pictures. Save your Photos Month is the perfect time to send a timely reminder with some tips.
“Don’t compare yourself to others, compare yourself to the person from yesterday.” Jordan Peterson
There are a million of ways to access self-improvement. It could be a book, podcast, YouTube video or Jim Rohn audio tape. We personally believe it does not matter where you go for self-improvement as long as you have that end goal. To steal some thunder from Mr. Rohn, “If you will change, everything will change for you.” We not only help this book changes your philosophy on how you communicate with your clients and prospects but a way for you to create change in their lives.
Technology is everywhere. It is coming at us from all directions, with no plans on stopping. The average house now has ten devices connected to the Internet. The iPhone, which fits into our pocket, does what 40 different products performed for us two decades ago. When Jeff Bezos was asked, “What’s going to change in the next ten years?” He answered, “That is an interesting question; it’s a quite common one. I almost never get the question: ‘What’s not going to change in the next ten years?’” October 3rd is National Techie Day, a day to celebrate those who embrace technology. Since 80% of Americans now own a smartphone, we believe this is an excellent time to send an outreach.
Since 1903, October has meant one thing- MLB Playoffs. Every month, ten teams start the month with the hopes and dreams of winning the Fall Classic. By the end of the month, only one team will be crowned the best in the world and will display the Commissioner’s Trophy. Since there are an estimated 500 million+ baseball fans in the world, even if your client/prospect’s team is not in the playoffs, we believe this is an excellent time to send outreach.
National American Beer Day- do we need to say any more? Whether you like the taste or not, beer is an extremely popular beverage in the USA. It is estimated the average American consumes over 26 gallons of beer a year. Also, it is one of the oldest beverages in the world, dating all the way back to 5,000 BC. National American Beer Day is a great way to create a bond with your beer-guzzling clients/prospects.
Trick or treat! Or should we say “guising?” Back in Medieval times, young people dressed up in costumes and went door to door and asked for food or money, not candy. They would call it “guising” or “galoshin.” They would dress up so they could go outside safely and not be detected by the ghouls. Anyway, Happy Halloween! Halloween is now the 2nd largest commercial holiday in the USA. The average American spends almost $87 on Halloween candy and costumes, which translates to over $9 billion. Since this holiday is celebrated by pretty much all, it almost went into the “must-reach-out camp.”
We apologize for going down the sports path again this month. However, we feel we would be failing you and your business if we did not recognize the hundreds of millions of people who love the NBA and NHL. This means it is time to put your high tops or skates on and reach out to those basketball and hockey lovers.
We apologize for going down the sports path again this month. However, we feel we would be failing you and your business if we did not recognize the hundreds of millions of people who love the NBA and NHL. This means it is time to put your high tops or skates on and reach out to those basketball and hockey lovers.
A cookie a day keeps the doctor away. Well, we can wish, right?! If this were the case, Americans would probably never see a doctor. It is estimated that 2 billion cookies are consumed per year, which equates to approximately 300 cookies per person. We love our cookies. If the average American eats 300 cookies per year, we think this qualifies for an outreach.
There is approximately 19 million Veteran’s in the USA today. Our county is what it is today because of the courage these people have taken to serve our nation. For which we are 110% thankful. It is also about remembering the impact that our veterans have had on families and communities. This outreach is a way to show appreciation to all your clients/prospects who served and a reminder to your clients/prospects to express their gratitude.
For approximately 12 million Americans, there are two types of seasons: hunting and non-hunting. We know some reading this may not approve of hunting, and we understand; however, depending on where you live and your type of clients/prospects, hunting is a huge deal. The goal of this e-book is to have an outreach for everyone. Therefore, we thought a lack of a hunting outreach option would disservice those who love this hobby.
In 1927, Phil Farnsworth created the first electric TV. I bet if he were alive today, he would be astonished by the size and features a household television now offers the consumer. Step into today’s world, and the average size of a TV is almost 50 inches, weighs 25-30 pounds and has access to the Internet, a small cry from what Phil’s invention accomplished. Hats off to him, though, for having the vision to bring entertainment into our homes. November 21st is World TV day. With an average of 2.3 televisions in each American household and 74 million Netflix subscribers, we believe today is an excellent way to engage your clients/prospects.
Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, Sara Blankley, and Richard Branson. All brilliant entrepreneurs and ones that we deeply admire. However, not every entrepreneur is famous and runs a billion dollar business. Most of them do not, but our societies would struggle to survive without them. The fact is entrepreneurs are the heart and soul of our economy. Not to mention, they are 31 million strong. This week is to recognize those risk-takers who choose a different career path to run their own business. We believe taking a second to acknowledge their hustle is an excellent way to show appreciation and separate yourself from the sea of sameness.
Thanksgiving comes with a lot of stress: traveling, cooking and, of course, the in-laws. This means it’s the perfect time to ease one’s anxiety with a board game or puzzle. Thank goodness the week of Thanksgiving is National Game & Puzzle Week. With over half of Americans saying they enjoy board games and puzzles; this makes a perfect way to differentiate yourself from the competitors during the week of Thanksgiving!
“When eating fruit, remember the one that planted the tree.” -Vietnamese Proverb
Look around you. There are tons of reasons to be thankful, but sometimes we forget to express gratitude. However, expressing gratitude over the simple things in life can make all the difference, like the smell of a new book or fresh baked cookies, a clear blue sky, or the smile of a child. November is all about being thankful as it is National Gratitude Month. We believe this outreach can be a beam of light to a client or prospect. It could make their day!
Socks, in our opinion, are the most underrated and overlooked part of the outfit. That is because socks can show who you are as a person, no matter the gender. They can reveal your personality type or your emotions. It is said they can also control your psychological state. If you ask us, that is a powerful tool to have in your wardrobe. To top that off, it is estimated that over 4 billion new socks are sold every year in the USA. Who does not like a fresh pair of new socks?
At the end of 2020, there were over 2 million apps on Apple’s App Store. Google had almost 3 million. On top of that, around the globe, the average amount of apps on one’s phone is 33. The way we live our lives has been transformed by this invention. There are apps that track our health, keep you in touch with family/friends, allow you to get in a car with a stranger (Uber and Lyft), and potentially meet your future spouse. If your client/prospect has a smartphone, as they most definitely do, National App Day is a creative way to send an outreach. A perfect way to get a conversation going is to ask them about their favorite apps.
What if we told you tea was the 2nd most consumed beverage in the world behind water? My guess would have been coffee, but, nope, tea is #2. It helps to have a 3,000-year head start for this tasty beverage. It is said tea had been consumed since 2700 B.C. It also helps that it is the national drink of China and India, which both have a population of over a billion. In the USA, approximately 159 million Americans drink tea every day, but 85% prefer their tea cold. With half the country consuming tea daily, we believe this makes for a perfect outreach.
David, Abraham Lincoln, Oprah and the 1980 USA Men’s Hockey Team. In our eyes, four of the greatest underdog stories in history. If you have not heard, underdogs are everywhere, and they come in all different shapes and sizes. As a matter of fact, they do not even have to be human. Tesla, Clif Bars and Apple are underdogs themselves. Today is all about celebrating the underdog and how they overcame all odds to succeed. Who does not love a good underdog story? Exactly—nobody, which means this makes it excellent outreach material.
The first day of winter, the day on which half of the earth in the Northern Hemisphere has pointed away from the sun. The winter solstice holds significance in many cultures. Some view it as the sun’s rebirth, while others view it as a time to reflect and recreate yourself. To most, it is known as the shortest day of the year. Since today has the least amount of daylight, we believe it is a perfect time to send an outreach reminding your customers/prospects to remain concentrated and efficient.
Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanza, and New Year’s Eve! No matter your beliefs, December is a time to rejoice. Whether you celebrate big or small for the holidays, this time of year is excellent for family, friends, and of course, ugly sweaters (Ugly Sweater Day is the 3rd Friday of December if you want to have a fun outreach). However, this outreach is one where you are going to have a ton of competition. Think of your holiday season last year; our guess is you were overloaded with emails, cards, and gifts. Do you remember any emails, cards, or gifts you received that did not come from your family members, spouse, or kids? We didn’t think so! If you do choose this outreach, we want to make sure it is personalized and unique. Otherwise, it will get lost in the sea of sameness and lose what you are trying to accomplish.
